There are too many competing brands to stick with something that turns into a bad experience. For me, never again on Ford or Chrysler products. Long term reliability studies support my experience. Yes, YOU had a great Ford, but the tendencies are there.

When it comes to new cars really anything with a giant touchscreen. I know I’m running headlong into old age here (49) but this isn’t really a “technology” thing. It’s more a massive repair bill down the the line, that may not be possible as this tech ages out. I mean what is going to happen in 20 years when the tech

VW. Because of an experience with a early 70s Fastback in the late 70s. Piece of SHITE car. And I have yet to hear anything really positive (but many negatives including the company being lying liars who lie).

There must be better ways.”

There’s no penalty high enough now that we’ve already deemed automakers like GM “too big to fail”.  Why care about fines when you can just hold your hand out and get a bail out

Way to prove how much of an authoritarian you are. Keep the peasants under your boot comrade! Who cares if customers wanted those cars, they are too dumb to make their own choices and need you to “correct” their behavior.

Your issue is more that these companies are giving people the option to buy less efficient vehicles/engines, not that they don’t offer more efficient choices.

Yeah, even after looking through the list, I still found myself thinking about how much I want a Grenadier. Yes it is a lot of money, and every other SUV at or near that price point will be better equipped, but that’s kind of the point. There’s very, very few options (in other words, none) for someone in the US who

A nice Defender 90 in yellow with a diesel engine... ah, the dream!!

I vote for Mydiq as the name for the EV Escalade. Then they could name the XT5 EV Urdiq. Beat Tesla at their own game.

GeriatriQ

This is what I was thinking too. When I lived in Philly one of our apartments was a huge old row home that was split into 6 apartments. Now, not everyone had a car, but even if one or two units in each house on a block had a car you would have about 50 cars plugged in with wires running over the sidewalk.

So... our future is streets covered in either unrolled cords or broken chargers? Great.

Cadillac Celestiq. Just because a weirdo spelling kinda worked for the Lyriq doesn’t mean you can use the device anywhere you damn well please.

I gotta vote for the bZ4X, too! Because all I can call it now is the “busy forks”!

The Busyforks may be an easy target, but it SO belongs here.

Jeez it looks so frumpy and generic. It looks tall, narrow, and bubbly rather than long, wide, low, and sleek. From the front, it looks straight up like a CUV.

This Ferrari F550 always made me think of a shark. Specially with the air vent on the side

I always kind of thought that the van from Dumb & Dumber To, looked kind of like a dog.

The 458 Speciale reminds me of the Bigheads from Rocko’s Modern Life, who were anthropomorphic cartoon frogs.
