So you still bought one.
So you still bought one.
Ah yes, this is what I come to a car enthusiast blog to read about.
Or maybe, now that literally every other brand has copied Audi’s full-frontal oh-so-tired top to bottom and behind the license plate blacked out grille as many times as there are nameplates over these last 18 years or so, they’ve decided, finally, to let it goooooooooo.
Also, it doesn’t hurt to look a bit more like…
Taking it for what it is. I gotta say, it actually beats the 2023 Sequoia in trunk space. A very decent cargo hold with a full load of passengers:
2023 Sequoia:
Good engineering isn’t cheap and even at $4 billion he’s getting value for money since Ratcliffe is starting a full production car company and not a boutique outfit like Glickenhaus.
Is anyone else bothered that this is three separate brands on the same vehicle? Landrover is a brand, Range Rover was separate brand from 1970 up until at least the 90s and Velar was originally a front company used to disguise Range Rover prototypes in the 60s. So this is like a Ford Lincoln Mercury.
Would love to see a Tron’d out IDx...
AND it gets outsold 1,000:1 at its own price point by a suv because suv fits 5 and a bunch of luggage. This fits two and the burger that slid under your wierd floating seat.
I was teaching my 5-year old daughter about crosswalks. Here we have a red person silhouette for stop and a white person silhouette for walk. I told her it was safe to walk after she looks both ways and sees the “little white man”.
You say that until he’s on your condo board. Guys like this are petty little pricks about everything.
I still think traffic cameras should be illegal so obscure your plate all you want. FYI, he isn’t stopping anything he is just doing it for views and to go “viral”...its all about money always.
Let the system deal with them. At the end of the day this is Karen-esque and it’s very dangerous for him. People manipulating their plates might be up to something far more nefarious than just dodging fines. I wouldn’t cross these kinds of people just because you think the municipal budget could use a few more…
I thought it was odd looking at first, but the more I look at these photos the more I like it. At least it’s somewhat distinctive.
About 70 years too late for Sonny Corleone.
Does it turn heads?
It’s the only car on their website. I checked. Can’t imagine they sell many of them...
Dumb name both with brand name and the actual name of the vehicle.
I don’t want this car... I NEED this car.
I wasn’t aware these were ever sold in the US. I saw a lot of them when I was in Germany in the late 80's and they always stood out to me. Not necessarily in a good way. Looking at it now, it looks a little like what could have been the inspiration for the Pontiac Aztek.
This is a cool car and would be a good project, but I see very similar ones pop up on the Obscure Cars for Sale group on fb almost weekly for 1/3 of this price. For $15k, you could still find a “driveable project” grade E36 M3, or an actually nice 325i. ND for me.
