I don’t disagree with your premise, but I believe what you’re describing in #3 is LIFO (Last in, first out). As in, the last people who were hired to the company (23 year old engineers) are the first to be shown the door.

Odd that they chose to style their flagship vehicle after one of the more down-market and less-successful vehicles rather than build on the equity of the Grand Cherokee.

It looks like every other electric sedan concept of the last 5 years. Congrats VW, you made the most anonymous car possible.
