Making it more attractive sounds good. Doing it by raising taxes/fees, or making other transportation options worse, is exactly taking away other choices, or at least making them less attractive on purpose. I hope they use a carrot, and not the stick.

In the meantime, third row passengers get a medieval-prison style window slit.  One of the nice things about minivans is plenty of visibility for all passengers. Not with this one.  I’ll take an uglier vehicle that actually allows the kids in the third row to see the world a bit.
