Thus confirming every other comment on Jalopnik whenever an article came out saying Ford and GM cars are going away.

That sounds like an upmarket VW, actually.

Beautiful Car. Too pricey. Still, it rivals the beauty of my favorite Jetta to ever grace Jalopnik : the  YodaCode Fahrenheit Orange beauty:

heh !

It does, you’re right !

I just copied your entire post as a TODO for the weekend. Thank you for the reading suggestions !

And, damn, this looks good from all angles.

This is magical !

Good point, and btw you did a nice job with the snake pit.

Wholly deserved COTD.  For once there should be no arguing amongst us.

Same here.  For me it was a Chicago-Made Taurus X that had virtually all expensive parts on it fail between 85 and 90 K.

Hooray!  New management direction toward the shining future (same as old management direction toward the shining future.)

Heh!   and Blech.

I’d argue without snark that this isn’t so much fastback as just shapeless blob.  I think a lot of us are trying to forget certain design misadventures, like this, from Mercedes.

Definitely good times for the fastback.  I’m glad it’s returned in so many forms.

You’re right.  That lightbar may be sourced off the same moulding form !

Preach!

Banglebutt *bad* and Schreyerback *good*

Amen.

DOH, can’t believe I forgot that one.
