just. why. i can’t even. I know, do what makes you happy, but why does this driver’s joy come from skulls and a pt cruiser? A mystery.

In all seriousness I figured they would save the green for year 2, so that not everything would get rolled out at launch.

You’re right, still looks good!

I like this breakdown!

I just hope a good percentage end up being the special colors. I don’t want to see a bunch of Black or Red Corvettes.

Dealer code for this package is “NICE”.

Only since the advent of the front bucket seats. Put a bench up front and I’m sure it could be in the top ten of fun things to do while driving.

Even though I’m not a Corvette fan, I’ve been geeking out on the articles and the Corvette launch over the last few days. All the positivity. GM doing the whole unveiling process JUST right.

While it all looks cool in these photos, the whole concept may be just a patina of dirt or some neglect away from absolute trash. Not ragging on this, just saying it will require constant care and upkeep or

If David Tracy wrote an article headlined “I Blew Two Trannies This Weekend”, I’d click on it without trepidation and read it happily. Glad you’re writing about the first Corvette I actually care about, instead.

Dammit, it even looks good in grey.  Never thought I’d be impressed by a Corvette, but here it is.

Green is for next year.   If they hand out too many goodies at once a good portion of us will end up with permanent erections.  Priapism is not good.

You’re right, some of these configurators do a much nicer job. C’mon upgrades!

So many vibrant 70's colors to choose from, too. The brown looks great, but that orange (nom nom nom!), the blues, the yellows, would do just fine on any Alfa Romeo Montreal, any 70's Maserati, even 70's Porsches and BMW’s. Well done, Chevy.

No. No. No. You all need to get off the Chevrolet website. I keep trying, and the configurator keeps crashing, which possibly means too many of you are overtaxing whatever server is assigned to the website.

Huh.  I’ve never been a Corvette fan, and the silhouette under the camo had me worried... but this is a lot better than I expected.

I disagree vehemently, but star for ‘hoser’ !

Yup, Some sports are already so homogeneous that they are pointless and as you wrote, unwatchable. I don’t get anyone who would still watch Olympic luge, as another example.

Oh, well. For a second I thought we were +1 on the wagon scoreboard.  And at anything over 10 mph, the last three Audi generations do kind of blur together into one look.

WHAT? It’s finally here?
