True, but what happens whey they invest a few billion and THEN sales don’t happen again for a few years because there aren’t enough EV customers?  Now you have status quo minus several billion moneys.  I’m just not sure if everybody doing EV is smart.  Also not sure if avoiding EV is smart.

And now Jaguar is pushing electric. Everyone is jumping on the EV train, but what happens when they all trot out their electric offerings and the sales just don’t happen? I know they will eventually, but right now the charging infrastructure is not in place. Popular acceptance is not in place. Issues with safety…

Agreed, but that’s just automotive business these days.  Rogue looks like an old Lexus Rx, new Escape has cues from Mazdas, everyone stole and improved the Cherokee’s slit lights.  I guess I’m immune to all the repeating styling cues.
