I had to google the Maruti. And now I want one, just because of the name.

Exactly right. My wife loved her Ford until the transmission self destructed. Think I’ll ever step into a Ford dealership again?
Good grief, less trunk space than a Mazda CX9.
I’ve posted this before, but this time it’s for you
Don’t know why, but I find this bit of automotive history fascinating. Glad you posted it. Thanks.
A funny joke turned into a depressing reality. “Hey, for only $115, you can add these fancy mirrors”
I noticed just the mirrors. And figured they would have been reason enough for a 15% price difference between the two divisions’ models.
Now I’m confused. GMC currently is the “premier” version of Chevy, and thus more expensive. Do you think it used to be the opposite?
You are correct, Termite. As a fitting example, I believe Subaru sold at least twelve of these when they tried to bring back the magic:
I suspect that the GMC had a 15% higher price though.
I’m not surprised at all, when it probably took three minutes just to figure out which was which. The worker who did assembly after the mirrors were attached at least could just look at those. About the only visual difference I can see at a glance.
THIS is a prime example of why people came to hate the old-style badge engineering. GM at its laziest. El Camino on top, the Sprint at bottom. Or is it the reverse?
Dumbass company. It’s not the hairpiece. He’s smiling cause he finally schucked that turtleneck.
Asking for a friend, wink wink?
I hope you’re happy with yourself.
Ohm my god you people need to resist these urges to pun.
But, but, but, the government will be there to help you! Every candidate for every office will tell you that. I had a much smaller example recently. Driver clearly wasn’t paying attention and rear ended me while I was stopped at a red light. Police showed up, told me she had done no damage that they can see at a glance…
I lol’d
True dat, from what I’m reading in the responses... but that just shifts the payout costs to our collective insurance premiums. Dammit.
And then every owner double-won by....
