I like the actors, and love the Scottish scenery and history, but this episode was way too contrived for me.

You have overstated your case. The latest RoboCop was, IMHO, a watchable movie.

I too have a special place in my heart for the highlanders. It'll be interesting to see if they vote for or against Scottish independence.

I gave up on the show after about 6 episodes. Terrible writing. Pathetic acting. Wandering focus. Bad science. It was a mess. I'm glad that it's gone.
