I did the exact same. I always talk up the campaign, and recommend people get it at half price.

General consensus: Nothing wrong with campaign, it’s actually good...but multiplayer is a dumpster fire.

If you enjoyed the singleplayer campaign, you should pick up Titanfall 2 at some point and play that as well. Lasts for about 5-6 hours, but well worth the $30 I spent on it.

I too was highly surprised by the gameplay. It was a really good story with a better attempt at giving us options, but it was too damn short. I was really starting to connect with the crew and it brought me back to the days of watching Battlestar Galactica.

The campaign was surprisingly good, despite it trying so damn hard to be Halo, but I don’t think it was worth the full asking price. Catch it on sale sure but that’d be it.
