Just dont leave your beverages in that compartment when the car is parked in the hot sun. Ive read several accounts of the interior getting so hot and causing those drinks to explode inside the “chill compartment”

They are referring to them as “beast” because the top version is a trim called “Cyberbeast”.
We quote that damn movie all the time.... it’s such a fun romp of a movie. Went and saw it again in the theater for the 25th anniversary. When we got up to leave, the family in front of us (parents and an ~10 year old boy) got up and dad said to the boy ... that’s who you are named after Korbin. LOL
Ya beat me to it. And that’s also my source for historic brochure browsing.
Those look really good!! I love how you had them recovered to match the rest of the interior.
Plastic bags in the middle of the road. I know that it won’t happen, but I have a fear that one of those little pieces of trash will get caught up under my car, attach itself to the hot exhaust and ignite and cause my car to burn to the ground. I know that if it does get caught that all would happen would be that…
Agreed. i am sorely disappointed that the 5000 didn’t make the list.
I understand the tough decision. After getting my 300C, my MSRT8 has just been sitting. I’ve decided to part ways with her, she’s currently for sale.
Watched the video on Youtube. At 00:25, as the tow truck driver drives away in the background looks to be an unmarked Explorer police car(?). Did they just watch this go down and decide not to do anyting?
haha.. i see what you did there.
According to the site, the surge pricing will be active during high travel times, which JetBlue has determined will run from the second half of April through June 20th, and then from June 20th through Labor Day.
While overall the concept is pretty far out there regarding the styling, a lot of the elements were toned down and showed up on the Magnum a few years later.
The bed interior and the rear window are definitely ‘78-’87 El Camino
Im a bit partial to the Dark Highland Green of the Bullitt Mustangs.
You can still get a 2023 Challenger new on the lot, so I nominate it. The current generation is nothing like the previous generation.
The Topaz XR5 also had a lesser known 4-door equivalent, the Topaz LTS. Same exact package on the XR5 (HO 4-cyl, V6 in 92, sports suspension and interior). Since it was a 2-door, it is the rarest of the Tempo/Topaz sporty trims.
When the Acheiva first came out, I thought it was the best looking of the N-bodies (Achieva, Grand Am, Skylark) in 2-door form. It always surprised me that they came out with the SCX to go racing! Kudos to Olds for that.
I’m definitely on board for the CarPlay integration (I also just upgraded the headunit in my 2001 Bullitt Mustang so I could have CarPlay). Also have had Sirius/XM in all of my cars since about 2008.
Bring back the PLC (or PLS). STLA Large should give us a reborn Chrysler Cordoba 2-door and a Chrysler 300 sedan... or a LeBaron or New Yorker if you go full USA style luxury.
As stated before, the extra oomph is likely just to offset the weight of the car. So far, the only published weight for the new car has been the Charger Daytona Scat Pack at 5,838#. Lets assume swapping out the batteries will net you a 500# weight savings when going with the gas engine. Here is how that stacks up…
