It’s a heavily revised version of the existing platform. The current truck is the T6 platform, and this is referred to as the T6+ platform. From another article I read on the new Ranger:

Agree on this sentiment about the Bullitt. Even the New Edge Bullitt was more than just an expensive GT. It wasn’t as over-the-top visually as the later Mach 1, it was very subtle but it also had some upgrades over the standard Bullitt. Compared to the standard GT:

I doubt that is the case with the mods that are done on that car. When you do an engine swap it has to be of a newer year model than you are replacing, you have to maintain all of the smog equipment (including the computers) from the donor car and (as stated already) you will have to meet the emissions of the newer…

I nominate the last few years of the Lincoln Mark VII. That full width neon across the back end was very futuristic looking. The technology of using neon didn’t last, LEDs took that mantle... but it sure did look amazing.

Another thing to point out about those test graphs, especially with the high speed test.  That first acceleration run goes from 0-45 mph in about 20 seconds.  Do you know how slow that actually is?!?  Go give it a try.  I doubt anyone is driving around that slowly that isn’t a danger to others on the road.
