My first encounter with a DDI was in Reno, NV. At the 580/395 exit for Moana Ave. They aren’t that difficult to figure out .

Volume of components usually helps to drive the overall cost down. When is Lincoln going to release the NavEgator? Its roughly the same frame as the F150, right? Already has an independent rear suspension. Has the interior to match the price tag. Lincoln is going after that old-school-American-isolated-from-the-road-qu…
It’s actually a shame that GM didn’t offer a Cadillac version of the A-body. With the J-body Cimarron covering the BMW 3-series/Mercedes 190E segment, an A-body Caddy would have been a credible threat to the 5-series/W124.
According to everyone, the worst car the year I was born was the 1977 Dodge Aspen/Plymouth Volare. Those (and 1976 MY cars) were “the most recalled vehicles in history” up to that point until the GM X-cars hit the scene in 1980.
Exactly this!!!! He would be #4 with just the single movie Gone in Sixty Seconds. I am absolutely gobsmacked that this was not included in the list.
I love a good A32 Maxima with a manual, especially the SE. But I’ll do ya one better for the mythical “white whale”.
This is correct. My dad joined the AF and we lived in several states across the country from coast to coast. My parents cars always had North Carolina plates and they had NC driver’s licenses because being military that was allowed. It was only when my dad retired that their cars / licenses were in the state that…
Thanks for the tip. I’ll give that a try and see what happens.
“Going forward, the first brand-new product to launch really since the 300 launched in 2005 will be our first battery electric vehicle in 2025, so we’re really excited about that” Fuell told Autoblog.
I’ve driven several of the 5-spd cars, a couple of 6.1s, my dad’s 6.4L Challenger, and a few of the 5.7 cars. I experienced it in almost all of them. Possibly could be all the hills around in my area cause a different load strain on the trans, but for me it is infuriating.
The 5-speed automatic in my Magnum SRT8. Driving like a teenager who just swiped his dad’s car for the night, the transmission is great. Shifts are firm just before redline. But, drive it just normally and the first few seconds of acceleration are miserable. Pulling away the car has the laziest shift to second gear,…
Honda definitely pulled off the upright 2-door coupe with pop-up headlights much better.
In my quick scrolling, i thought that the lead image was of some new LED headlight bulb.
By that same logic, one could state that cars built without passive safety (airbags, automatic seatbelts, etc) could be considered to have a “safety defect” and should all be recalled and retrofitted with airbags.
The Aviator Black Label is also a really wonderful SUV, not quite as gargantuan as the Navigator, being based on the Explorer. That’s more maneuverable but also getting you essentially the same lux interior as the Navigator Black Label.
I think getting them in March is optimistic. I heard a rumor in the 300C Owners group on FB that the 300Cs will be the last of the 300 production this year. They are supposed to be built in “Spring ‘23", which who knows exactly what Chrysler meant by that (March - May, April - June?). MY23 300s are already starting to…
That $5M equates to about .1% of the GDP of California.
Yup. Hexavalent Chromium was the contaminant in Hinkley water.
In 2006, I decided I should be a bit more responsible and sold my 2001 Mustang GT convertible for something more sensible and economical. I ended up getting a new 2006 Fusion SE with the Sport Appearance Pkg. 2.3L 4cyl with a 5spd manual transmission. It handled well and got great gas mileage on my commute to/from…
I’m fully onboard with more stripe packages being offered. Both newer designs and retro-inspired designs.
