The B-pillar treatment is strictly Ford. This is how the B-pillar was on all 4-door crew cab HD trucks from this generation.

Agreed, really wierd decision to destroke the engine. I guess it was to provide a little bit more distinction/slightly higher power in the Jag’s engine.

Hmmm... seeing this makes me think that Lincoln could have easily created a baby-Blackwood and sold even less of them.

The only unique vehicle of Lincoln was the LS...

I agree, I think that Ford should have used the 2.3L out of the Mustang.

In my earlier days, I had a 1993 Topaz GS 2-door and a 1992 Tempo GLS V6/5-spd 4-door. I also started and ran the TempoTopaz.com forums for several years. I obtained (and retained) a lot of knowledge about them for that website.

1986 was the first year of the AWD system on the Tempo/Topaz. It was available on both 2 and 4-door models of various trim levels.

Yes!!!  Bring this over as a Chrysler 200/300 (not sure of the size), and I’d really consider this as a daily driver complement to my Magnum.

Was thinking along the same lines when I see the Chrysler 300 is up there.  Dont’ get me wrong, I love a good LX car, but damn you can’t make some decent coin if you leased your 300 a few years ago.

Definite ND. But, Dodge did build a factory concept one-off Challenger SRT-10.

exactly what I ws coming to say

It had a dual tailgate/hatch combo.

I’m gonna have to agree with BMWs in general. I have a friend who is a diehard BMW fan. He has had a 335, 2x 135, X5 diesel, 650 GC, and now a current 540. He has even managed to convince a couple of friends who were looking for new cars to get into BMWs (both friends jumped from them after less than 2 years each).

When Prop 8 was on the ballot in California in 2008, it was also done in a very similar way. Voting Yes for Prop 8 means you did not support same sex marriage. Voting No for Prop 8 means you did support same sex marriage. It was very confusing to a lot of voters.

The black one with the Saab taillights is giving me vibes of the PPG Chevrolet XT2 car. Like the black one was the 1st gen, and the XT2 was the 2nd gen.

“last year, when nobody was driving to work from being laid off or was working from home instead, car sales were booming” - uh, they weren’t. There were countless articles about how dealerships were struggling amidst the pandemic because people weren’t coming into showrooms”

I remember reading on allpar.com about the development of the Chrysler LH cars (Dodge Intrepid/Chrysler Concorde/etc). During consumer clinics with the new cars, people were driving the Intrepid back to back with the Accord and Camry. Most of the people coming out of the drives were stating that the Accord and Camry

Came to say this... leaving satisfied.

This isn’t David Tracy... ;-)

Absolutely love the audio controls on the back of the wheel. The first Mopar we had with them was our ‘08 Nitro R/T. After like two minutes of use, it just came naturally. Our ‘16 Ram 1500 and our ‘20 Ram 1500 also have them.  My ‘06 Magnum SRT8 was the generation before, and so it is missing the controls on the back
