Oddly enough I’m totally indifferent to both of those teams.

I think the Avs will be ready to really compete in a couple of seasons. One of the big things they have going for them is cap room so their up and comers hopefully won’t price themselves off of the team.

EJ and Varly would be huge right now. Hopefully Colorado addresses the goaltender situation in the offseason because, as good as Varly can be, he cannot stay healthy for shit.

Colorado fan here and I’m not sure they can maintain that energy. Part of the Avs’ collapse (if you can call it that) down the stretch had to do with not playing a high-energy game and looking flat. Young team though, so hopefully they’ll get something out of the experience and be ready to go next season.
