I think that the title is a bit misleading. The fracking process itself is not contaminating the groundwater and probably not capable of contaminating the groundwater as it occurs deep below the water-table.

Well, no. It’s a practical scale for day-to-day weather. The smaller increments make it more precise than Celsius.
X a million!!!
They just did.
Three major questions for our well-wishing, but woefully-misguided lawmakers/lobbyists in D.C.:
First, what will making systems reliant upon this communication do about older vehicles?
Secondly, what data network will support this mass transfer of information, without fail, while not simultaneously interfering with…
How about you fix the fucking roads first before trying to get cars to talk to each other.
NO! You damn well know if this happens, the government will use the info to find out how fast you drive, where you drive, and whatever else they want to collect. And DON’T think your insurance company won’t be using this data either!
“Kill Me!”
Wait. Who doesn’t like long, drawn out, explaining in their action/sci-fi movies?
Wow, he’s really grasping at straws isn’t he? He should just go out with some dignity.
That’s a fair first step. But does that mean that:
Agreed in principle. But facts get boiled down to convenient and inaccurate soundbytes. So who polices that?
I agree with you in principle. However, it’s very common that 5 different people with 5 different opinions all believe they’re being objective. So who gets silenced?
It wasn’t sarcasm - there’s a ton of poorly-researched and biased news in mainstream on top of straight-up advertising. Would that be considered ‘fake news’? Would voicing a differing opinion be considered fake? Who does the research, who makes the decisions, and who executes?
The big question is who decides what’s fake?
actually no matter waht we do it will continue to get warmer. the sun gets bigger and hotter every year, this is part of it’s life cycle. also I think the main thing that people are sick of in the climate “conversation” is that there are people that want to charge a carbon tax. that is the scam part. the earth has…
I remember it fondly, I don’t need google.
So, newsflash: the climate constantly changes.
It’s because of stuff like this that I consider myself a “climate change skeptic”. We do know that the Earth’s climate has changed repeatedly over the short term (in geologic time) but still long enough ago that it could not have been caused by human activity. I really haven’t seen any good explanations for things…
Are you old enough to remember when global cooling was the big fear? Spoiler alert it didn’t happen. So now it’s global warming, or whatever alternative name you want to give it. Pardon me for not getting overly excited about this.
