I haven't come across a government program that has done more good than harm for our society outside of Military Programs but i admit that i am biased because i have never had a need to make use of any government programs outside of what i earned via enlistment in the US ARMY.

I own a Midland weather radio and can attest to its usefulness NOAA alerts are very handy.

I used an inexpensive self contained system Cooler Master for $50 (newegg) and could not be more pleased not only does it run completely silent it keeps the fx-6100 under 90F even when pulling the full 85 watts rendering movies. It was my first water cooler i plan on purchasing 2 more for my gaming rigs.

Very good base builds; i built something similair to the $600 build as a Steambox for my TV with a FX-6100 that i had laying around and a AMD R280 Video card and can attest to its smooth consitent performance. One thing i would add is a water cooler for the CPU especially the AMD CPU's.
