And bachelorette parties!

Yessssss I bought so many Emily and Fin dresses back in the day. You’re spot on with this comment. Some of their clothes were total crap but then they did carry a lot of awesome brands. I found that taking the time to read all the user reviews/comments helped a LOT.

I was obsessed with Modcloth when I was in college (~2010). One thing I loved was that they carried European brands that were semi-hard to find in America. I kind of aged out of their clothes when I graduated and started working, but they’re a cool company.

I’m a ninth grade history teacher and I teach world history, but in the context of revolutions. So each unit is a revolution and I teach the students about the revolution itself, and the context surrounding it. It is thematic rather than purely chronological. I think more teachers should move in this direction!

Same! My mother never/doesn’t wear makeup so I never learned. I feel like when I try putting on makeup, I look like a clown, so I just don’t wear any.

It is so infuriating. I always follow the carry-on rules, I bring my roll-aboard bag which fits the required carry-on dimensions, and my small purse. Half the time I always am the one who has to gate-check my bag.

I remember one time I had to fly for a job interview (for a job I desperately wanted) and I was REALLY anxious about making sure I could keep my carry-on with me. My trip was so short with a tight turnaround, I didn’t want to risk my luggage being lost.

For me, it is 100% about overhead bin space. I usually just travel with a carry-0n and I really hate checking it. I get very anxious about my bag getting lost or taken by accident.

I teach a unit on Media Literacy to my high schoolers and one type of fake news is actually poorly done “satire” sites. Major sites like the Onion are considered satire due to their higher quality and longevity. There are a LOT of small websites that claim to be satire but the content is simply not clever or good

My bf mentioned this a couple of days ago, but I had forgotten and thought I missed out. Just tried and it worked for me! Thanks!

Omg I am soooo shocked that an old white Republican man was racist omgggggg.

YEP! Male bisexuality desperately needs more representation.

Skin color has nothing to do with sexuality.

For real. This is exactly what contributes to bi erasure. I think its great to show more couples that are in straight-passing relationships, even if one or more are bi/poly.

SC Charleston is great! I’m obsessed with Dallas, those ladies are truly INSANE. I really recommend SC New Orleans! They actually talk about real stuff, like police brutality, homophobia, colorism, importance of community. It is a great blend of Hot Mess Express but also real conversations that I think a lot of Bravo

Katie is THE WOOOOOOOOOOORST.

I’m calling CPS.

Alright, I’ll bite and respond. I think you’re taking my comment a bit too seriously. Part of the fun of reality TV is hate-watching and then talking about it with others who watch. Also, the show is EXTREMELY entertaining. I love some characters and hate some others. And lastly, who said I bought her book? I’m a

So, that’s what is confusing about her book. The premise is supposed to be “like what you like even if it is basic AF.” But then she flips between writing about being basic, and then categorizing herself as quirky. In the first chapter she writes about her high school experience. She writes that she loved ghost

Maria, I love your writing and your articles. But lately, I have to say, as one VPR fan to another - I completely disagree with everything you’ve been posting about these crazy kids.
