Preach. I'm about a week from giving up on my dreams because apparently there is just no way I'll get hired in my chosen field. Now I'm considering myself lucky if I can land a secretarial job at the university I just graduated from. I don't even fucking care anymore.
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!! I was trying to remember what this series was called just the other day because I wanted to read them again so bad. They're SO funny!
I just graduated from UMiami. I was very proud of how they handled this.
I'm sure they're from porn, however, they still aren't very pleasant to look at.
What in the fuck? Someone is posting rape gifs and its extremely inappropriate, how do I report that?
Same. There are some crazy stories in here about people leaving contacts in for years without ever cleaning them or taking them out or using eyedrops. Mine start to drive me crazy after 10-12 hours of wear.
I can't imagine this. My contacts start to bug me after about 12 hours of wear, so taking them out at night feels amazing. And if I sleep with them, they feel like dry cotton balls on my eyes when I wake up.
I have heard it referred to as "fast-casual," same with Chipotle. I think both restaurants are clearly better than traditional fast-food places.
Same here! Red is a good color on me. Oh well!
But I, an honest, non-twerking young woman, can't land a teaching job for the life of me.
This article is pretty great timing for me. I sink into sadness/depression after about one day of doing nothing. I recently graduated and am job-hunting, so I've had an awful lot of time on my hands. I read books, ride my bike, and watch Netflix, but its not enough. I cannot wait to get back on a schedule; I need the…
I hate her music but I am LOVING her style.
I know what you mean. Sometimes I think "you know, I have the capability to look like a total put-together 50's housewife" but the amount of time and money isn't worth it.
Surrogacy issues fascinate me. I actually told my friend, who is about to go to law school, that she should get into this "field" because I feel like it gets more popular as time goes on, and it still gets messy every so often. Interested to see how this plays out.
Oh my lord! Yeah, I probably would have hidden it, but not reported it. I do enjoy that feature, I hide a lot of stuff on my newsfeed. I've only ever reported a few really out of line posts.
If it had to do with an article, I wouldn't have reported it. But my friend posted a totally random status, some update about her day, and some weird friend posted this horrific picture as a comment on her status, for no reason -_-
It's ridiculous. I posted this elsewhere but the other day I tried to report an EXTREMELY graphic and violent picture of a car accident victim, and Facebook actually e-mailed me informing me that the picture didn't violate their standards so they wouldn't be taking it down. I was pretty angry.
I posted something similar to this a few weeks ago and a bunch of commenters jumped down my throat. I mean, I'm totally with you on that I think you should respect your child's privacy, and there's also a huge difference between naked baby pictures that are kept within the family scrapbook, and naked baby pictures…
I am very pissed off about Facebook's "standards." The other day a Facebook "friend" posted a horrific and graphic picture of a car accident victim, literally severed limbs and decapitation, in full color, up close, full detail. I hid the picture and reported it (which I never do, but this was just absurdly over the…
