Another “contrary to popular belief” tip is that there is a load of great games on the Mac App Store.

If you’re playing Windows games on a Mac, don’t run a virtual machine. Just use Apple’s built-in BootCamp for free. You have to reboot into Windows each time, but you’ll have native hardware performance.

I watched someone play through on YouTube (Because my computer crashed while reading the minimum system requirements), and the whole time it felt like a (very short) Mass Effect campaign set in the Star Wars universe.
