This is the problem I had in college: too many professors who had zero experience with the technologies they were trying to teach (outside of classroom contact). In one C class I took the professor had me explain pointers because she knew the book she was using was wrong but couldn't explain it.

I don't know if I agree with you on the math side. The best programmers I know are actually more language inclined, although I would say the higher maths are actually more language inclined.

Try onlive. If you have a good internet connection, it won't matter about your video card. I've heard the pc version of ACII was kinda picky/buggy about some vid cards. They also give you a chance to live demo the game, which is nice.

The part at :02 or so where they just start to kind of glide over is freaky looking.

Just forks? No Paintbrushes?

It's not a containment area. It's a black hole. Seriously.. people move there and never leave, and it just grows every year.

If you have a time machine, why did you settle for a VGA card? Why not get at least a Pentium class with SVGA?
