I think it might have read a little differently if it were a women’s shirt — that seems more of a call to assertiveness. That being said, given how much victim-blaming happens and how a lot of people have zero idea that only yes means yes... It just doesn’t seem like good idea.

That’s the thing — JKR seems to be so aware of the world (although she wasn’t necessarily in the books, but she’s writing diversity in, and I think that’s great); I don’t understand why she wouldn’t reach out to Native communities and, like, ask. Or something. I dunno. I’m disappointed in her.
