This is sucky news! I buy their milk because it comes in glass and they have it at Wegmans!

They are definitely on the soundtrack.
I’m working on a dinner party menu with this exact theme. It’s still a rough list, but so far:
If they’re anything like my college marching band, they’ve got this part on lock already.
When in doubt, ask. And allow people to define themselves, if they choose. Obviously, that’s harder if you’re writing about a group instead of an individual person whom you could ask, but if someone chooses to describe themselves a certain way, then go with that.
Interesting that they’re saying he “looks amazing” because they were REALLY playing up that “frail old man” thing during the trial.
Co-signed.
“While supplies last” is the greatest and best scam ever.
No Rao’s? Test is flawed.
10/10 would pay to watch.
I think my RBF is actually weapons-grade. I have been described as “scary” more than a few times.
I would NEVER. Most of my best friends started being my best friends by saying “I thought you were a bitch because you look mad all the time but you’re really nice.” If you can overcome the barrier of my RBF, you’re worth knowing.
My refrigerator also has a Sabbath setting.
I have been thinking a lot about this aspect of it as well. Natalie doesn’t owe Caroline anything, there was no reason other than courtesy to let her know ahead of time that she was writing this. By telling Caroline, Natalie HAD TO KNOW that she would vomit out her reactions to it well before it was published, right?…
Didn’t we live through Cat Marnell already?
I read it like “they bought my hot friend the shots and when I went over to offer myself instead, they laughed at my obvious hideousness.”
I regret that I only have ten fingers and toes to cross to ensure this happens.
The thing that stuck out to me was the scene where Natalie was locked out of the AirBnB in Amsterdam or whatever and was then followed/harassed by people for the rest of the night. “Men always find me,” she says.
“gonna stop engaging”
I hope this is a closure situation for Natalie, and that she is able to move on and away from this Caroline person. While I hate the navel-gazing aspect of this whole situation, I hope that by writing it and getting it out of her head, she’s able to get it out of her LIFE, too.
