Oh goodness yes. Especially since there is currently in theaters an animated film that rips the "turkeys go to war with humans over Thanksgiving dinner with a parody of 'Braveheart'" subplot wholesale and expects us not to notice.

As do I (see a couple comment threads above).

Aw, "Bart V. Thanksgiving" is disqualified? Wah. I wanted a discussion about it if only to confirm what I've long suspected: that, like "Homer's Odyssey", it hardly showed up in reruns/syndication, possibly because it's so uncharacteristically dour for a first(?) season ep.

Down voting for being angry at feathers.

Ah yes, the Wonderful World of Disney: Christmas in Walt Disney World! That's a great scene and the rest of it is basically the Star Wars Holiday Special of Disney (Shields and Yarnell are involved for one thing)!

Yeah, the craziest thing about Disney's "Pinocchio" is that it's actually the *softer*, less nightmarish version of the story.

Really, the only way the shoe scene could have been worse is if they'd gone with their original plan and had Doom slowly and mercilessly kill an adorable little animated animal. Ye gods…

I mean what happened to the whale in real life. Sorry if you had that nicely repressed.

"Crazy old Uncle Walt!"

You shut your mouth about "Free Willy"!

Dahl was mad as hell because the people who changed the ending never in a million years could ever understand why the book ending wasn't "sad".

In fairness, I think I've seen "Goonies" all the way through exactly twice.

Welp, I'm adding Josh Brolin to my list of People I Always Forget Were In A Certain Movie.

Holy shit…

The nostalgia I've seen for "Hook" (and indeed you wouldn't believe how much there is out there) is almost invariably from people who haven't seen it since they were very young children and only remember a live-action "Peter Pan" with Robin Williams.

Oh sweet baby Yeezus, "The Worst Witch" is amazing. Try to imagine the first "Harry Potter" movie if it were made by crazy people and you're only a third of the way there. Tim Curry's music video is one of the most beautifullest things in this world.

I'd forgotten about that part. I'll add it to the "this movie is really kind of gross" pile.

"Somebody please punch that annoying glasses wearing kid who keeps saying that things are illogical and or not real."

Oh my God, those damn animal masks. I needed the toucan beak to complete my homemade pterodactyl "And what are YOU supposed to be, sweetie?" costume that year and all they gave me was the damn cat face. Fast food places hate children.

Some fellow illustrators and I were about to launch into what we expected to be a very long discussion of The Most 90's Character Designs Ever on Twitter a while back. Said discussion began and immediately ended when somebody posted a picture of the Burger King Kids' Club.
