Yeah my day job is in the travel industry. My shift is back to back to back bookings even in hard hit areas. I’ve lost faith in people’s survival instincts.

Taking bets now. Who will make it to cinema first, Indy 5 or The Flash?

I'd like to believe this but given that people lined up to eat at the local Pizza Ranch that opened despite our current orders, I don't know that I have that much faith in most people.

No way Bill and Ted makes that August release date.

Almost nobody is gonna want to set foot in a theater this year. Eventually the studios are going to figure this out.

Oh, man. I’ve been resisting these because I find Gad relentlessly annoying, but I guess I’m going to have to break down and start watching these things.

By all accounts he is an awesome dude who had been successful, dealt with personal tragedy, and kept it together without going off the deep end. At this point he might as well just go for it. Make fun of of his “Whoa” persona all you want, the only difference between aloof and stoic is often age.

Cracks me up how brave Keanu is for diving headfirst back into a character that he’s basically been running from his whole career, insofar as early assessments of his talent went.

FOX: “Hannity, you’re supposed to have 15 pieces of flair!”

Going after the police would be bad optics for the kind of people they have as shareholders, whereas going after a daycare for an unlicensed Mickey mural is ‘ prudently protecting their IP’.

The comic didn’t work because of that, and also because Frank saying “don’t be like me” just makes them want to be like him even more. Modern conservatives have really started to subscribe to the concept of the nobility of the sin-eater.

Plenty of military members have the skull as patches they sport while deployed. Might want to get on the horn about that too.

Seriously, what about Frank do they idolize beyond the fact that he murders criminals? No, wait...that’s probably enough. To them, he probably represents what they wish they could do.

I’m not sure it can go after personal use, though. Selling or posting to youtube is one thing, but putting it on your own clothing is usually exempt.

Seeing the Punisher skull anywhere outside of a comic or movie makes my skin crawl, but ironically Garth Ennis’s run on the character (especially the MAX stuff) is one of the best comics I’ve ever read. Taken as a whole it’s an incredibly deep character study examining first how a senseless war can shape a man’s

I think we would not be amazed at how fast departments would act if Disney announced it would be suing any departments with officers caught on camera with this shit on their uniforms or equipment after say July 1.

Genuinely asking, is their grounds for a suit? I’ve heard some say that this technically isn’t violating fair use.

I had this same thought. If I were to paint Mickey Mouse on the side of my business vehicle, Disney’s lawyers would issue a cease and desist letter so fast it would make my head spin.

Maybe Disney should better promote their black actors in China while they’re at it.

The comic didn’t work because 99.99% of the dipshit cops using the Punisher logo have never read a Punisher comic in their lives.
