Our local chapter dropped her name and it pisses me off to this day. I'm friends with the Director and I told her what a disrespectful move it was and she agreed, but her board outvoted her.

Mine, too. Stole my mom's copy and sleep with the lights on for weeks after I finished it.

They hyped the crap out of that show before it premiered and I was so disgusted by all the commercials I refused to watch it. Until I saw Bruce in a commercial. Watched about 4 seasons before I realized even my love for Bruce couldn't save the show.

Back in the day, before the internet was so pervasive, he would answer all of his emails. I sent him one saying how much I loved all his work and I even sat thru McHale's Navy for him and he replied back. I kept that email for years and years.

Started some work on a short story to accompany a completed novel. Didn't get very far, tho. Also did some editing on another completed novel. I really need to learn to let it go.

Maybe - The Clarks
Never Leave - Seether
I Fall to Pieces - Patsy Cline
Sexy MF - Prince
Irresponsible - Voltaire
Gold Dust Woman - Fleetwood Mac
Outlaw Torn - Metallica
Israel's Son - Silverchair
Tangled Up in You - Staind
The River - Clarks
The Great Gig in the Sky - Pink Floyd

I read both. Liked them but didn't love them. I figured them both out pretty quickly, but they were still well written. I liked The Fold better than 14.
I just finished Ex-Purgatory, so Ex-Isle is next. This is the first time I've re-read that one, so let's see if I still love it as much.

Another thing that I just remembered about NOS4A2, if you're reading the Kindle version, you get cheated out of some of the story. For some godawful reason, Hill put an addendum to the story on the page that discusses the typeface, which is not in the Kindle version.

Reading A Tap on the Window by Linwood Barclay and re-reading the Ex-Heroes series by Peter Clines. For someone that doesn't like a lot of smart zombies, I absolutely love this series and they way he's portrayed them.

If you think NOS4A2 is a King ripoff…er, homage, wait til you get to The Fireman.

Totally underwhelmed by this episode. I don't expect excellence, but come on. This was painful.

That's the cover of the book I stole from class.

I remember The Outsiders (because I stole the book), Lord of the Flies, Animal Farm, The Crucible and Great Expectations. Never finished Great Expectations but because I could bullshit, I passed the test with a B.

Nearly finished with "Night" by Elie Wiesel, which I read decades ago and thought it was time to read again. Just started "A Tap on the Window" by Linwood Barclay that has been sitting on my TBR pile for years.

I dunno, Leslie Jones actually wrote pussy on one of her answers. And Pete Wentz drew a cock & balls.

The song "Voices" by Russ Ballard is completely linked to Miami Vice for me.

Exactly what I did when I read the book.

He replied to an email from me too, telling him that I had seen everything he'd ever been in, even including McHale's Navy, even tho I didn't want to. He said "You can't win 'em all." I saved that email for years….

I subscribed to Starz last year JUST for the show. I don't think I've watched a single other thing on that channel.

I saw the original first (on Beta, that's how freaking old I am) and loved it. Saw ED2 way later, loved it even more. Saw AoD way way later and thought "This has to be the greatest movie ever." Maybe now that I'm even older, it's not the greatest movie ever, but basically, it's close. Basically…
