I'm not a huge fan of the Trek world and I thought it was great. Totally worth the read.

Don't forget Julianna Marguiles' violinist who had the weirdest fixation on Bolander.

And you got your wish!!

Finally got to The Wire on Amazon Prime. I'm 6 episodes into the first season. It's good, very good, but I'm not seeing it as the best. Does it get better?

Yeah, mine is just taking off. We usually do a fairly substantial garden each year, but no one was willing/able to help this year and I sure as hell wasn't doing it all myself, so I'm resigned to stealing vegetables from my brother's garden.

I've never seen him, although I've always wanted to. I bet that was a great show.

The Pizza Hut 5 minutes away from me is take out/delivery only. But there are still two within 15 minutes that are restaurants. And almost always empty or filled with families with young kids.

But then we wouldn't get Artemis Pyle's heroic adventures in getting help, which has been called as bullshit by the rest of the band.

When

There's nothing available within 6 hours of where I live. Guessing those vouchers are going to rot in my account.

I swear, I thought I was the only one who picked up on that. When I mentioned it to a couple friends who watched it, they looked at me like I was nuts. It creeped me out and I quit watching.

Just started Nobody's Fool by Richard Russo. Recent finishes include Honky Tonk Samurai by Joe R. Lansdale and The Troop by Nick Cutter. REALLY hope Lansdale is messing with us…

This is part of my work mix, because some songs are truly not work appropriate:

Watched The Peanuts Movie yesterday when I ditched work because I was "sick" and not "sick of my co-worker's constant personal business taking over her whole work day."

I loved the comedic aspects tonight. I forgot just how funny it could be. Alex's shouting "You're gonna be my best man" was fantastic.

I started out really liking Nick, then not liking him at all, but he's growing on me again.
