@Erin Burr: No! Do tell.
@Erin Burr: No! Do tell.
@vikkitikkitavi: Awesome.
I do not exaggerate when I say that Judge Walker's ruling and this news item: Carol Burnett will guest star on Glee as Sue Sylvester's mom have totally restored my faith in humanity.
@badluckgirl: Disapproving Rabbit disapproves, disapprovingly.
No thank you and good day.
Oh, I have a bad feeling about this.
@schmerd: Lady GaGadiva.
@MagImpalor is a god damn spy.: I aim to please.
@MagImpalor is a god damn spy.: So you're suggesting that you'd like him to dip his pen in your inkwell? Are you hoping head speech writer has two meanings? Would you like, perhaps, to have him adverb verb your adjective noun? Repeatedly?
@quagmire: Have a glorious day and a glorious life. For some reason, this post made me grin and feel a bit misty. Soak up every delicious moment—it goes by so fast.
@Artemis47: Well said. I find the aspect that sexual desire is undesirable to be at least as disturbing as saying that women are solely responsible for the feelings men have toward them.
@Tigermilk: Yes and no. The laid back hippie types were very glad to embrace breastfeeding as a normal, healthy way to feed babies, but there was still a pervasive belief that people of a certain class or background didn't do anything quite so earthy. In fact, my ex-MIL told me that her husband's family made her…
@DutchessOfDork: That's not unusual of most women (or men). This article might address some of your discomfort.
@banana_grabber: Sesame Street handled it well, too.
@SharonBallBearings: Disgustingly put and well on point.
@DutchessOfDork: What about breastfeeding is creepy to you? I don't think you need help necessarily but that strong of a reaction to something so benign must be difficult at times. (Said with no snark whatsoever.)
@majin_chichi: Thanks for clarifying. I thought I had remembered the separation agreement a few years ago so was wondering if that memory was just wishful thinking so as to be disassociated with the ninnies over there equating breastfeeding with urination.
@Redred: Are they still? For some reason, I thought they were independent of Denton Inc. I go to Gawker as an antidote to the level of stupid, illogical, uneducated blathering that takes place elsewhere. Everywhere else makes me mourn the observable devolution of the species.
@LoSpaz: There's nothing more soul destroying or more damaging to one's faith in humanity than reading Internet comments outside of the Gawker network. It's worse than infinite monkeys on keyboards—it's more like infinite Sarah Palins.
That's political, not sexual. Granted, the two tend to blur an awful lot, but I'm not seeing the latter in this case.
