Two things
Two things
ah. that makes sense.
That is the right way IMO to make a margarita. Two fresh squeezed limes, a tiny splash of OJ / fresh orange and a good tequila. Shaken gently over ice and poured over ice. With salt.
I wonder - was that building, the second floor especially, designed to hold that kind of weight? Fitting 100 cars on the second floor is way more weight load than office furniture. Heck, one Cayenne weights as much as a small city.
I don’t use anything that fancy in the margarita. The flavors of the tequila get washed by the lime, so no need to overdue it on the tequila. I really like Hornitos when mixing. I don’t often sip tequila. If I’m in a sipping mood, I’m grabbing the single malts.
I guess I don’t understand your reference point for a “particularly good” race car driver. Is she in the top 20% of all race car drivers in the world? Top 10%? I think anyone in the top 20% of their field must be “particularly good” at what they do.
After reading a few hundred replies below, I’ve come to the following:
after spending the day vacuuming, wiping, cleaning and otherwise tidying up my old truck, this was heaven to my ears in much the same way my personal recipe margarita is heaven to my lips. Thank you for making my afternoon blissful.
you wanted her to be earning major race money while she attended Stanford University? Most people at Stanford University have a hard enough time just staying at Stanford. She graduated college a few years ago. How far in to a career earnings / performance should she be after two years? Most people I know have yet…
perhaps. Does she have any race earnings? I love getting participation trophies that look like money, spend like money and are, in fact, money.
bingo!
Well, she is doing better than 99% of hopeful race car drivers in the world. So she has that going for her. Which is nice.
Brockles- exactly how quickly do you expect people to move up the ranks? If we continue with the start up analogy, we are still really early on. This is from Ms. Landauer’s bio:
HarrySeaward - I think it shows more what regions have what power sources readily available.
Brockles - You can ignore the comments from people like GMT. They are reactionary responses without well thought out ideas.
I would like to see more of this. This map, if accurate, is a fascinating way to look at the difference of opinion of this country on the benefits of EV tech. If I’m a regular Joanne in Nebraska, I can easily get a cheap gas car that is almost the same EI as a really expensive EV. Yet, if I’m SuferSusan in CA, EV…
I’m guessing you have never spent the time to bring a car like that back to special condition. But, yes, that’s how you make money.
CP. For that price the car better be spotlessly clean, little to no nicks and bright paint. Shampooed carpets, new floor mats and pedal covers, no hanging wires etc. With the miles / age, the rest needs to be impeccable to fetch the selling price. As it sits, $4,000.
2001 R/T CC here too! Totally agree with you. The last fun smaller truck to come out of any of the three. the 5.9 is unkillable in normal and mostly abnormal use. After using it like a rented mule for years, I’ve slowly started bringing it back to a driver. Slow steady progress.
can COTD be spelled wrong?
