It’s kind of telling that half the comments turned into an “I can’t stop drinking, but it’s okay because x.”

The criteria isn’t sound, those are excuses and reasoning as to why their habitual drinking is okay. It’s normalizing the behavior because, currently, things are great.

I’m going to slightly disagree with that. Even if it doesn’t negatively affect any of those things, at least in your eyes, that doesn’t mean you aren’t dependent on it.

There’s also that feeling of,

Hey at least it’s just a dead psu. I got 3 fucking DOA mobos in a row from newegg. Apparently there was a batch of MSI mobos that were bad, something I learned from the reviews as I got each replacement in the mail.

If you enjoy story and world/character building then you may want to reconsider. Yeah, the combat system didn’t appeal to me before I bought it either, but it’s not some dumb beat em up kill everything type of game. You can definitely be a badass, but if that’s all you care about then I wouldn’t waste your time.

As much as I loved Breath of the Wild, being a lifelong Zelda fan and all, Nier took the top spot for me too. They took some pretty basic human emotions and essentially built a game around them. It was good the first playthrough, great the second, and nearly flawless once it was all said and done. It goes to show…

That’s partly my problem. I bought the digital version on PS3, buuuuut that doesn’t help me on the PS4.

I still haven’t finished Suikoden II either and I made this fucking account when I started playing it, or close to it.

I think it’s time to stop questioning if they’re “legit” this year. Next year can be an entirely different story, but they’ve got way too much momentum to slow down at this point. Unless injuries start piling up, I don’t see them falling off a cliff.
