i dunno, maybe this is just the book reader in me, but every time i see him, i see the perfect brown ben plumm.  the halfhand seemed a bit younger and more badass, but that might be me taking the pages over the television.

really?  i LOVE the wire, breaking bad, and justified.  using this faulty logic, you could ground any character decision in external stimuli.

jeebus christ. i know this is a non-spoiler thread and you will find none here, but Martin is probably one of the best character developers ever. there is definitely a reason that this was a book series made into a tv series, and that was numero uno.

the two stark boys being separated is pretty much essential to the happenings in the latest book.  each goes on a separate journey, in one case resulting in a revelation and in the other resulting in another important character being pulled along that arc.  so i think it would be implausible to keep them together…

after seeing who they cast for the half hand, i just keep thinking he would have made a so much better brown ben plumm.

i mean they already took a huge chunk out of that fight with polliver and tickler by offing tickler. i guess they could take out polliver too, but that raises some questions, like who can get the better of the hound and wound him in book 3, and how is arya gonna walk around harrenhal with her sword back?
