they will recoup it because we are an increasingly internet dependent society, carriers cooperate behind the scenes on pricing, there is no competition and we have no other options. they jack their prices and we have no choice but to pay.

I am guessing they are going to rate throttle you massively and probably send you a cease and desist letter. This has happened to me by running huge data transfers per month. True unlimited cell plans don’t exist. Many of them throttle to like 480p video streaming rates after x amount of usage.
