Garbage deserves more recognition. Version 2.0 is fantastic from start to finish.

Dude has a firm grasp of drug-induced “genius” ideas though: it’s the space glove’s fault, and it’s told from its point of view? Ok...

For sure :-) I check CDAN pretty much daily.

They fired both Mel B and Heidi K, then after only one year they fire the other two lady judges, who performed quite admirably. I thought it was bold to fire the previous two at once, but to repeat the same action the next year?

Good call, Burning Love was fantastic!

You may indeed earn the ire of current/former wait staff, who are going to disagree. I’m guessing you never worked as some kind of tipped server in the past.

For lunch meetings at my work, the company tips when a restaurant chain delivers the food (like Dominoes) but we didn’t tip the local caterer for her deliveries, which I found unfair. I suggested adding a $12 delivery charge (she didn’t think to add it, as she’s located less than a mile up the road).

All our neighbours removed tall trees, mostly maple, from the back of their yards, now manicured impeccably.

Can vouch for grape jelly chilli sauce meatballs. They’re always a hit.

I do agree with your viewpoint on Melancholia. I sometimes rolled my eyes and f/f through some lengthy moody scenery sequences. But I l still loved it because it was so intense and beautifully filmed, and of course K. Dunst was perfect in it. It moved me very much when I saw it.

CITW was brilliant! From the concept to attention to details right down to the ending. Lots of horror/suspense, so many surprise twists, a special guest star, and an original and daring ending. Will there be a sequel? lol.

Oh, but Eleanor asked Janet if she could look at the scoreboard... maybe she should have asked What's on the scoreboard, instead...

I’d watch that!

A very clean-shaven 14th century knight... Somehow I can’t suspend my disbelief for that, but I can do it for the time-travel premise, hmm.

Wow....oh wow... That’s terrible. Are you still watching the show or just checked out the pilot?

Is marriage really necessary? It used to be all about business, and not sure things have change all that much.

She’s forever imprinted in my mind from saying “f*ck” live on SNL. To be fair, this was during an very difficult tongue-twister sketch where the challenge to not say the f-word was the main joke.

For sure, Margot Robbie was fantastic in the role, whereas Jared Leto’s Joker was just one note = I’m a sociopath.

If I’m so sick that my tissues are full of radioactive waste, I won’t be out in public, of course.

What struck me most was the burlap sack material at the bust. How... why...? Is that dress from the Kanye Fashion Kollection?
