Anetra and Jax killed the talent show.
Not to mention “influential,” “award-nominated,” and “deemed culturally significant by the US’s National Film Registry.”
the deleted cartoons include “What’s Opera, Doc?”, “Rabbit Of Seville,” “Duck Amuck,” and “One Froggy Evening”
To build on that, I absolutely loved that the reason Benoit had difficulties cracking the case was that he is bad with stupid stuff and couldn’t fathom that billionaire was actually that stupid.
Which is a great respite from the usual Hollywood neolib cliche of the self-made billionaire wunderkind.
Honestly my favorite part of the movie is that the so called genius billionare was in fact dumb as a sack of rocks.
Yeah arguing that it’s not a white savior movie because it’s not based on a 30 year old white savior movie but even older white savior material is not the winning argument that Luke seems to think it is.
This. It’s the Occam’s Razor answer here. Grace was too weak for Eywa to transfer her consciousness into an Avatar body, so Eywa did what she could: stored Grace’s consciousness in its database, and then fed that into Grace’s Avatar in the form of a pregnancy.
I think it’s pretty clear who Kiri’s “father” is. It’s pretty obvious it’s Eywa. My theory is when they hooked up Grace’s Avatar to the sacred tree to save her like Jake, Eywa instead since it couldn’t save grace instead “impregnated” her with what is now a Na’vi Avatar living analogue of Ewya.
why would this movie be embarrassing for him?
I remember the general sentiment around the original Avatar being awe at the technology and the world itself while complete indifference at the characters and story, so I’m a bit bummed to learn it focuses on the same heroes and villains instead of being an entirely new story within the Avatar universe.
It’s like if the head of Disney literally collected the six Infinity Stones and used them to wipe out half of all Marvel movies as a tax write-off.
Maybe I’m in the minority, but I thought that was a terrible finale of a weak season.
Personally was disappointed by this episode. So much of what happened feels hollow in retrospect based on the outcomes. Cameron ultimately was a nothing-character. The show hinted that he may have financial problems or something nefarious in mind. But nope, he’s just a d-bag to such a degree that it’s amazing that…
Going into this ep, knowing she’d seen Greg’s picture and heard Greg’s phone calls and saw the uncle f***er in action, I was thinking, “maybe Tanya has hidden layers?”
Pretty sure it’s “take the rains”, though I was never sure how they were going to take them down to Africa in the first place.
Getting in the door -is- the hard part though.
You’re right. He explicitly said that Jews do not control Hollywood. And then spent ten minutes implying that in fact they do.
Amazon? Wasteful? Nawwww
