Jason, this is why Elon is freaking out

I doubt Tesla will do the full encryption as that has overhead costs for performance, but certainly they can do a much better job in implementing a secure delete function.

Not going to lie, that was my immediate thought after reading the headline.

You beautiful weirdo, never change.

Also, it runs.

I will not ever sell my Jeep pickup either, one owner from new.

Oh... restaurants.  Yes, I remember those...

Penn Gillette drives/drove one

Yeah, exactly. I’d say it’s pretty common, at least for families with children, for both drivers to need a lot of overlap in the usability of their cars. Without kids, sure, you can get a bit more specialized, but as Tom mentioned, there’s still the issue of preference. Someone may not want to DD a pickup just because

The two of the same car can make sense in one family. For example my wife and I both work in opposite directions, so a carpool is not feasible. At one point we had 2 SUVs as it fit the needs we had and we didn’t have to worry about who had the hauler. Or if one of us went a trip and parked at the airport - whoops need

Plates are useless if the car is stolen, helicopters take time to launch and get in position

This is it exactly. If you start your “negotiation” at 50% of MSRP, then no one is going to take you seriously.

I don't have to be as diplomatic as Tom does, the dealers don't respond to your absurdly low offers because you are wasting their fucking time.

It’s the dealers. fault 100%.

Most people buy the car on the lot. The dealers want to sell of their stock. So they want to have 1 car that will sell to almost anyone who walks on the lot.

If you have 10 purple,10 red,and 10 green cars etc, that’s great....but when you only have 6 purple cars left you have to sit on that

Pole vault.

the venn diagram of tesla owners and individuals with only a single credit card overlaps at seth.

You can’t blame Seth for undertaking a trip with no working credit card
