The Florida law only gets rid of civil penalties, not criminal ones. So it’s still illegal for someone to run someone over, the person who is run over can’t sue.

It’s nonSTOP terror.
a video of crime is not the same thing as a police report of a crime. If the victim of a crime doesn’t file a police report, there is no police report of the crime even though the crime occurred.
IDK if the 200 is one of them, but some Chrysler vehicles will let you pull the check engine code without a reader with some key gymnastics.
It works on my 2012 Ram C/V
I’d be really curious to see more than a few seconds of the video before she was hit with the PIT maneuver. I’m curious what the road looked like for the 2 minutes of driving looked like.
If her definition of “safe place” wasn’t just “wide enough shoulder to fit a car” but was instead “next exit”, I could imagine the…
I was gifted a free minivan a few years ago because my parents were going down to one car and I wanted a second vehicle for my side hustle (selling at flea markets and buying to stuff to resell on eBay).
I had to dump a bunch of money into getting it to pass state inspection, because evidently it’s illegal in my state…
If the alternative to fewer “predatory” loans is more poor people can’t buy a car and thus can’t get to work or pick up their kids, then... not really.
People aren’t taking out “predatory” loans because they could totally borrow from a credit union at 3% but are too dumb to. They are taking them because they don’t…
Nice to see it comes in a couple of colors that aren’t grey or slightly different grey. I like the Cyber Orange.
As far as I understand, students will study under Nikole Hannah-Jones at UNC. She wasn’t given tenure, but I haven’t heard anything about her turning the position down.
Does anyone at Jalopnik have a Carfax account to run the VIN? (the link on the dealer’s site is dead). That would tell you if they bought it at an auction or not.
I’m guessing the “base” model thing is a default setting on the software that they use to make listings, probably for anything that doesn’t have a trim…
From what I understand, the Progressive ones measure mostly “how often do you hard brake”. Which.. even if you are good about allowing enough distance, sometimes assholes cut you off unexpectedly and then the only option is to hard brake or hit them. And if I didn’t hit them, I consider that an example of GOOD…
Probably because the profit margin on commercial vehicles is less than on passenger cars, especially luxury passenger cars. It’s not a coincidence that Honda and Toyota don’t sell small cargo vans in the US, and the one Japanese company that does - Nissan - is exiting the business.
Most small cargo vans are bought by…
Charging extra for windows is pretty standard for cargo vans.
For me it’s not so much mulch as that moving things in and out of a vehicle frequently tends to tear up the carpeting, scrape the trim pieces, ect.
I have a side hustle selling at swap meets and on eBay, so I’m frequently moving junk in and out, and I took a lot of chunks out of the plastic trim when I had an SUV.…
Up until the recent chip shortage and insanity in vehicle prices, nobody paid close to sticker for a full size pickup.
I paid $35k for my Ram 1500 Bighorn in 2018, although it has the Pentastar V6. That seemed like a good price for what I got. The $50k sticker price would not have been.
From a quick google it looks like the biggest problem is that the suspension and brakes run off a hydraulic system that uses mineral oil and if someone puts the wrong fluid in them things get expensive real fast.
“Your butt on the towels”
I had a Pathfinder where Nissan recommended premium, so I used at least midgrade in it. It seemed to hesitate more when I used regular, but I realized that’s unscientific.
The article says that they were novices because they picked a highly visible target, not because of a lack of technology skills.
