Funny how as-is laws are always met with “you don’t have to buy it” for the suffering customers, but the defense from that auto sales industry is “we have to buy it”. You don’t have to buy that clapped out altima, my friends. If you don’t buy it, you can’t re-sell it. If you do buy it, you still don’t have to sell it

Somebody needs to make a simple, affordable and not-ugly electric for the masses that’s not overloaded with unnecessary bullshit.

Thanks Obama!

So, what do I owe you?”

The ground drone carrying the bomb was sent over a narrow, intact section of a partially destroyed bridge along Metalista Street...

It reminds me of the basic polygon models used for vehicles in early development versions of video games.  You know, before they add real models and skins to the objects.

To Russia with love.

I hauled 600 lb of Sakrete mortar mix and bags of gravel in my Fiat 500 Abarth with no problem (and that was the limit of what I could push on the flat cart in Lowe’s). Also hauled hundreds of pounds of pressure treated 4x4 and 2x4 lumber (sticking out the back of course) on many occasions. Didn’t bend anything in my

I’m with you. This is probably not a “Tesla Can’t Do Engineering” issue so much as a “Tailgates In General Bend If A Ton Of Weight Is Right In The Center Of The Outer Edge”.

Can you adjust the title, please Bradders, because a IED from a Hydrogen explosive is a very different thing from an actual Hydrogen Bomb. Less... world end-y, shall we say.And my cold War raised heart almost stopped when I saw that.

To the point that I’ve seen Teslas with “I bought it before he went crazy” stickers.

There’s a reason that for most corporations, the CEO is basically a faceless automaton in a suit. There’s a reason why most corporations take stands that are already focus group tested to not offend their audience.

It was creepy, but not surprising, when Trump started talking up EVs recently after Musk’s contribution.  The fact that he basically said that he changed his stance based on Musk’s support is pretty frightening if you’re looking to avoid a full blown (more than we have now) oligarchy.

Half the time they complain about cancel culture, they’re just talking about people criticizing them, which they don’t think should be allowed.

In other news people still learning free speech isnt a comprehensive protection / license to say dumb shit constantly.

Small correction: Rossmann is not precisely a “drugs company” but rather a drugstore chain. And given German drug regulations, that means a massive limitation as to what kind of “drugs” they can offer (supplements, basic common cold, infusions, indigestion stuff etc.). The bulk of their products are personal hygiene

The cognitive dissonance on display with that “you can’t not-advertise on my platform” lawsuit from a “free speech absolutist” is truly breathtaking.

My business professors always used to tell me, “if you’re ever the CEO of a large company with a broad customer base, make sure you get super political. It will do wonders for your sales”

Exactly. It’s about god damn time the fucking fascist was hurt directly financially.

I will not be surprised when Musk starts suing people that canceled their orders because it violates his free speech rights to support an orange asshole.
