Do I need them? No, I’ve gotten along without them for 20+ years. Would I try making ISO copies, if I had the means to transfer the data? Yes, because storage space is cheap.

In the back of my closet, I found an old box full of 5.25 floppies. I thought I had an old drive laying around; but it must have gone by the wayside a couple moves ago. My old HTPC has an FDD connector on the motherboard, but finding a working 5.25 drive on a budget is well-nigh impossible. 

I am frequently unable to view the comments under slideshow articles. It’s like Kinja refuses to extend the page downward to allow the comments to become visible.
