@Garro: No, Night of the Demon (thanks poster who remembered for me) failed financially.

@Pope John Peeps II: No, it's because it went from edgy thriller to "monster chiller theater" in a matter of seconds. It took the responsibility of horror from your mind and instead placed in the hands of the SFX crew. Notice you never saw the Blair Witch or the demon from Paranormal Activity.

@suck_it_monkeys: Intensely private people release statements through attorneys and don't speak of it again. It's now a running joke on his show.

@ArtfulSlinger: I'm pretty sure it stopped being a private matter the night he announced it on his TV show.

I disagree. I think shaking "The Hoff's" hand obligates you to use it for self-pleasure.

Yeah, because we all write long posts about women we don't care about and wouldn't kill our mothers to bone just once. That's why there are so many posts here about the ladies on the View.

Exactly when isn't it fight night in the Bronx?

You have to pity Tyson Gay's position. You set a record and you still come in second.

I've always wondered how the Jet and Giants have gotten away with that for years. I mean, we sure know why, but I can't believe it's taken over 20 years for someone in New Jersey to get pissed about it. Wait. I'm talking about Jersey. In fact, they may be ahead of schedule.

Hmmm, I'm a little thrown because this is about loving to see cars onscreen and not chases per se. Well, what about The Transporter movies? That's all about the love of a car. And kicking butt. And hot women with accents.

Basically, it means that after six weeks any pretense of moral outrage will have succumbed to a 2-4 record.

I grew up on Michael in the 70's and he was nothing short of an idol, but for me he died for me long ago. This makes one less pedophile hiding behind wealth and fame. I look at him as I do Roman Polanski. Appreciate the dance, but definitely not the dancer.

Debbie Does Dallas did the same thing to me as lad in regards to sexual congress with cheerleaders. I was led to expect so much more. But I won't stop trying!

@Dodai: So glad her suffering is over and yes, I'm looking at you, gossip rags, as part of it.

@AthertonMerriweather: Nope. Hate Vogue. But all magazines are super thin these days. My primary reason for wanting an iPhone is because soon they're all going to go digital.
