Don’t know about prior, but this is what they thought of him last season:

Couple of points are reasonable, couple aren’t, specifically:

$125K is not a significant amount of difference, and I think Kaepernick is a much better quarterback than taht difference. There are at least 9 teams that could currently fit that number under their cap.

Dude, you used “social justice warrior” unironically. Nobody has to call you an asshole, you self-disclosed.

Taking a knee is a crusade? How does it even obstruct your football viewing in any way?

Leonard Little was resigned and cheered after being convicted of Vehicular Manslaughter (.19 BAC) and another DUI a few years later. Lawrence Phillips was drafted in the top 10 after dragging his girlfriend down a flight of stairs by her hair, Donte Stallworth pled guilty to Vehicular Manslaughter and played two more

This is what I wrote:

EVERYBODY knows why Kaepernick has a job. They can try to rationalize it all they want, but it’s because he was unpopular with The Masses (read: white people), and isn’t good enough to overcome that.

Both of you are saying that I think social justice warrior is racist. Nowhere did I say that.

The NFL will not tolerate a player protesting an injustice. The players hold a great deal of power if they stand united. The owners will create a climate of fear to prevent them from using it. Kaepernick will make the perfect example. Protest and you will lose your career. If 10 players from each team took a knee

Why did he have to take a knee during the National Anthem? Why not save it for when he scores a touchdown like our Lorde and Saviour Tim Tebow?

I know right? I’m amazed at how someone can play football while kneeling silently during the national anthem. It’s almost like the game hasn’t really started yet, no passes have been thrown, and football isn’t really even being played.

With you totally with one caveat: “while you have a critical mass of average fans that say “you know, I’m not 100% on board with this beating and raping women thing that some players are doing on the other teams.”

Dude, you used the phrase ‘social just warrior’ and started a sentence with “I’m not racist.”

I keep thinking about John Mara saying he got a bunch of letters from ticketholders saying they’d stop going to games if he ever signed Kap. Mara and his fans had zero problem keeping a kicker on the team who had 20 incidents of domestic violence in his past, and Mara defended Brown when the allegations became known.

For the head of HR of a company with a few thousand employees (which is what I would guess is the number of people dealt with in total by the Baltimore public school system), that’s not that insane of a salary.

Just imagine how many people of color in this country don’t speak up because they’re afraid their employer will come down on them for it.

This Marine approves of Mr. Marshall.

Air Force Credit Union I get.

Century Link? Like someone in marketing was like “Guys, if we don’t do something, we’re going to lose those people who are forced by geographical boundaries in a captive market to take our services!”
