I mean, it’s hard if you want to be able to keep on monetizing the estate. If you say “We just wanna get paid” then the magic of the commercial disappears. Mark my words, this shit will work.

Dexter King runs the for-profit licensing company, and he’s got expensive tastes...

she a cunt whore.

I mean, just look at this bullshit:

That’s true of every state larger in size than Vermont. Georgia and Tennessee would be easily blue if they were just Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis and their suburbs. New York or Oregon would be dark red if you chopped off NYC, LI, Westchester or Portland.

I generally agree with your sentiment, but the fact remains that most of state is a shithole. And while DuPage County is a GOP stronghold, those people mostly have the decency to keep their bigotry to themselves and would likely disavow this woman (as the state GOP rep did) even though their actual worldviews might be

That’s mostly true, but a couple of points:

Basically, it’s ridiculous caricatures of various demographics that the worst conservatives consider undesirable, including a transgender woman and a black Chicagoan.

Until its:

It’s a bunch of people thanking the current governor.

So a fair skinned, blonde hair, blue eyed, woman running as a Republican is a raging bigot? Totally didn’t see that one coming.

How easily these White people forget that their great nation of Amerikkka was founded on protest and resisting. They fought a whole war to get their freedom, but Black people kneeling for injustice is “disrespectful”.It’s also amazing how all these racists always get paid leave. If she assaulted a child she should

Yes, because it’s IMPOSSIBLE that a white student could be protesting. Only black people can sit, is that your double standard now? No whites can join their cause? And how the fuck do you profess to know the contents of another person’s mind (“if you’re just lazy”) anyway?

It’s their Constitutional right to not stand for any reason. Telling them they’re free to sit if they’re protesting is probably a Constitutional violation in itself.

And nothing says “facist dictatorship” like punishing, insulting and assaulting those that don’t.

So you deliberately set out to “other” students with principles and make sure everyone notices their social exclusion? Is your goal to try and shame or intimidate them into not staying seated, because it seems like it is. If you truly respect the choice and principle behind remaining seated, not to mention student

I’d count holding a teaching degree in a subject as proof of an ability to “do” said subject.

Nothing says land of the free and brave like making children stand for a stupid “pledge” or else...

I teach in a wonderful high school whose racial and economic demographics are nearly identical to the U.S. itself. At the start of the semester, I tell my students, “If you choose to sit as an act of protest, go ahead! You’re welcome to do so. If you’re sitting because you’re lazy,” (at which point I glare at the
