They were in front of this story though - this exact same youtuber clickbait panic happened in 2021 and Ubisoft answered all these questions back then already. The only thing that’s different this time is a support tech tweeted how you can avoid account closure and everyone decided that meant Ubisoft was deleting

This exact same story came up in 2021, including the exact same answer from Ubisoft about how they don’t delete accounts with purchases on them, and the reason they gave then was GDPR requirements to delete data once it’s no longer needed. Account data is needed to service accounts with purchases on them, but it’s not

(sorry. had to >.>)

So in conclusion:

it sucks knowing whatever you’ve invested into your Ubisoft account and game library could be subject to erasure should you forget about it”

Hmm, guess I’m not familiar with “battlepass” games.  Seems odd that you can earn back everything you spent - how do they make money on it then?

I hate any game currency that dosen’t let you buy the exact amount you need for an item. The packs are always these odd fucking amounts so you always will have a little bit left over that you can’t do shit with.

Who could have foreseen this outcome?

Read the article. the keys got locked in broh. Likely it was an honest mistake.

This was not a case of caretakers forgetting a baby in a hot car. From the article:

They accidentally locked their keys in the car.  The parents were part of the group trying to get to the kid to save them.

Didn’t read the article, did you? Sounds like it was an accident on the parents’ behalf.

Enjoy that streaming show but concerned it might disappear? Build your own back-ups.

Yeah I was waiting to play again till season one and now I probably just wont’ play again. I got my $70 worth but it’s time to move on.

Its not a security issue. If he boards another plane with another carrier or leaves the airport will know. They track every little thing you do in an airport. The airlines don't handle the security anyways its just a bluff to fool people.

IDK if it’s the open worlds most themselves people have problems with so much as the pointless collectables littering every inch of them

Maybe it was a reference/homage/etc. John Wick 4 had the Hotline Miami scene and it was awesome. I don’t really see the problem.

Edit: Obviously the John Wick scene wasn’t, like, a shot-for-shot scene from Hotline Miami. So I guess that’s the difference. But still. In 120 years of cinema, it doesn’t bother me that

Dang, any other objectively false takes to make yourself feel like a special individual?

This comes off as satire.

IDK, I feel like we’ve gotten quite a few “bottomless” single player games the last couple of years. Elden Ring was one of the biggest success stories of 2022 and we’ve already got Tears of the Kingdom this year. I only have so much time for open world games that demand multiple hundreds of hours to complete. But this
