Yeah, she’s done.

RECTANGLE SHAPE or at least a flat bottom for chrissakes, the current design is the worst console to physically interact with ever.

The point is video games use to include all of these cosmetics in game and you would receive them if you completed the game in a certain way.

Not that I automatically agree with it, but part of the concept for their rage may stem from they bought a game (as this isn’t a F2P), and it has content they cannot unlock without additional spending. In a box title, that can be a fair claim.

Video Games and attire are different things. To claim otherwise would be excessively reductionist.

10 years ago it would have been $2. And it’s still a full priced game with multiple tiers of “deluxe edition” and with peer to peer matchmaking, so they can’t even use “but the server costs!!” as an excuse.

Fake currencies are such a flagrantly scummy monetization scheme. They’re very clearly designed to both obscure the actual cost of MTX while also forcing you to spend more money than you should need to. Developers and publishers should absolutely be called out for it.

as an aside, I really don’t get this modern “hater” culture that’s grown.

Can only speak for me, but... I enjoyed it. I didn’t “hype” (I’ve grown out of that, I find that I enjoy games a lot more if I’m not expecting The Greatest Game EVAR!”), bought it at launch, and played it for 170 hours. And then I moved on to one of the many other big releases that came out at the same time. (just

if i can be just a little honest here: the missing block quote was actually my fault. the kinja had it previously, but the cms decided not to keep it when i published the post after checks and edits. (gotta love kinja, right?) that said i appreciate y’all not dragging me for this. as you’ve noted, g/o media’s been

Tomato potato, but point taken. I could have just said “multi-millionaire actors” and been done with it because the sole reason for the qualifier was to indicate that many of these films are “hobbies” outside of the actual cash-raker content. Our weekend gardening is their “hey let’s give this student filmmaker with

If you think Aubrey Plaza is ludicrously wealthy, you have no idea what ludicrously wealthy is. If you haven’t tipped over into 10 digits of worth, you are still just ridiculously rich. If you can’t buy an NFL team, you aren’t ludicrously wealthy. She looks, and is, worth more than everyone that visits this site

There really isn’t clear-cut criteria and i think Keighly defended the inclusion fairly well where someone who hadn’t given it much thought would say “well it’s a pixel game”

On Rockstar’s part, this is a case of zero to gain, reputation to sink further than it already is.

Maybe, after receiving enough criticism, the studio will yank them out entirely.

FYI Xbox already do allow the distribution of keys from 3rd party sellers.

If that was all they cared about they would have thrown the case out... which is not what happened.
This is tried in the UK CAT btw. - not the US. And to my understanding sometimes “everyone does it” doesn’t necessarily hold up in court, if it’s deemed an “bad” practice that simply hasn’t been challenged legally

Yeah, that “not passing the savings onto players” bit is a big one, IMO. In the earlier 2000s when the concept of buying video game through a game console was new and being floated out there as something that was coming (mainly because hard drives were starting to how up in consoles) I thought it sounded like a nice

Rather, Sony overcharging devs to sell games in the PS store, taking advantage of the fact that it is the only available store for it, the PS ecosystem being massive and all.

Just in time for me to have stopped playing after 100+ hours. Honestly, other than a bugged npc that wouldn’t talk to me and was fixed on restart, I haven’t had many bugs at all.
