As someone who played it two years after launch, game is actually  really fun and enjoyable. So I am not sure what is being bemoaned here.

I think part of the problem was that no one at Arkane wanted to be working on that game in the first place. Prolonging development through early access would have been a nightmare for everyone. And likely the final product would still just basically be what launched.

This so much. I’ve had some matches where we are down to the final round and things have been wild and the commentator is basically yelling the whole round as the fight gets very frantic and technical. It’s such a blast.

I said “a little bit of homogenisation” not that their games were carbon copies of each other. I wasn’t attacking Sony friend. Of course they have some variety, although them ending Dreams development and closing PixelOpus studio is a bit sad.
