This is an article where we are talking about MS failure in light of Redfall’s launch. So Psychonauts 2 is relevant to that tale. I know its not a nice and clean dividing line, but two years of development under MS is not nothing.

Unless you want to spill the beans on some insider knowledge you have on The Coalition’s

does xbox actually have a wider variety of games on offer?

Personally I was very surprised by how much I loved the commentary. I prefer it with only on commentator. I found it to often be very reactive and specific to match conditions and the specifics of the match. You definitely can have some matches where the call outs feel more generic, but generally it felt on point.

I’ve videos of damage reduction comparison and its really not that much. As a long time classic mode player I struggle with modern controls a bit, but in the beta I was using them for charge characters and managed to find a lot of fun. The shoto style characters still feel better to me with classic.

If you want to go back 6 years, you’re talking more like at least 10 bangers if you limit yourself to just “bigger scale stuff”, but closer to 20 when you factor in their actual output. That’s not even glancing over at some well received remasters.

The smaller stuff is still valid. They are still great games. That

I don’t know. The output in general has been critically solid. These big flops are outliers to the general MS Studio output.

This is true. The downside is a little bit of homogenisation. Everything is a narrative heavy 3rd person action adventure, or as is looming everything is a GaaS Live Service game. Whereas MS has a much wider variety of games on offer. I think both scenarios could do with some tweaking and lifting from each other.

Well I am glad to hear that there are new developments in cricket. But I submit to you this, if ICC collapsed tomorrow cricket would continue, but it would take quite a long while before it got back up to its former glory, former financial status, and former televised status. Especially as multiple orgs would vie to

Spider-Man himself probably has close to a thousand

There are examples of other privately owned sports. But more commonly there are examples of many sports where the dominant franchise may as well own the whole sport, as it is with Cricket. Personally I think it would be best if the sports part of these things could be separated from the video game owner’s operation,

Not everyone who participates in a sport is an athlete, that is not a core characteristic to sport. Sports often involve many non athletes who are still part of the competition. The pit crew in F1 are not considered athletes, however they are still vital to the sport. So it is just as much possible for other sport to

Nobody owns

I mean ESPN covers all sorts of things, including poker, if poker is covered then gaming is... fair game. And while I am personally more inclined to the term competitive gaming, that ship sailed long ago. However its worth noting that these games do require a certian level of physicality that fades with age, do have

Myself, my family, my ex, her family, and at least one of my closest friends, and dozens of people in my community have been doing this our whole lives. Seriously so many lifts in so many cars as a youth and young man, oftenin the absolutely sweltering hot Durban sun in the middle of summer. If this was anything more

We’ll see. The things that Rift Apart does are not as unique as their marketing claimed. So I am very interested in how this shakes out. A quote from the game director:

I have a feeling that if its a high speed SSD then its gonna work just fine.

This is unfortunately not true. For one the hiring firing cycle was really a larger problem in America because of its terrible employment laws, in many other countries with better employee protections, studios are not run in this way. It’s also something completely avoidable for any company willing.

But secondly GaaS

It wouldn’t make it any harder than it is now. It was going to be a bit easier in future.

I love how losers who aren’t intelligent enough to actually argue a point say this.

Wow look at you. No real argument to make so you write like an uwu idiot. Shame.
