Definitely don’t feel silly. The deluxe upgrade is kind of like DLC. It just gives you the extra bits missing to be playing the Deluxe Edition (or whatever they call their version with DLC), because the Game Pass version is usually the standard edition. I don’t mind this too much, you’re right the games are

I remember the PS2 still getting love well into the PS3s life, but in general I think you’re right. I feel like 3rd party devs might still support it for a while on apparopriate games, indies, double-As, and the like.

I took the inbetween route and just did the Deluxe upgrade. I often do that for games I am really enjoying. I wonder what the stats are on others doing likewise.

I’m really surprised this isn’t on One. There is nothing about this game that seems like it couldn’t run on the older console, even the base model. In fact for a current gen exclusive I’m kinda bleak there are no next gen features at all. It’s still using screen space reflections instead of ray tracing which is...

Most malware comes in through email or actual illegal activity such as torrenting, the former you won’t avoid without training, the latter should always be blocked on company devices regardless of free use policy. Placing restrictions on people only creates grounds for what will seem like insignificant rebellions, but

And it really is mentally exhausting having to keep track of things as a sort of insurance against your employment. Like having to mail colleagues confirmations of things you already confirmed face to face, just to make sure there is a paper trail. It’s become second nature to me now, but when you actually have to go

For sure. But a better way would be to ask the employee to be responsible to not generate unecessary company cost. Get IT to put a bandwidth counter on their PC and ask them to keep it in a certain range (and don’t be ridiculous about that either), and if they can manage that responsibly then you’re not so concerned

Oof those restrictive work situations really are their own worst enemy. They encourage deviance more than they avoid it, and never foster teh kind of endearment that makes people work above and beyond without being asked.

Struggling to think which part they find unbelievable?

The existence of weird office politics and how personally some people take them? Keeping a record of activity to deal with said politics? Having a manager defend you? Making increases in efficiency? Or is it the combination of everything they’re struggling with?

Ma

This is the one that kills me the most. The people who get upset at the appearance of the work rather than the content. I’ve had so many close calls where I have then had to drag up emails showing how my work was way ahead of schedule. I just find all the personal protection sleuthing to be so tiring.

I remember once

I would like to hear more please.

Automating tasks has been the major win in my life. Once I have found a way to optimise something I just keep that card close to my chest unless revealing it near a promotional period might be in my interest. I once had a task that took a full five days and dropped it down to 2 hours (it did take me about 2 weeks of

I mean, if you looked at his work record and the primary duty he was hired for had a greater than 99% compliance, they were still getting what they paid him for. Which is probably how he got reinstated.

At every job I’ve ever worked at where we were given computers powerful enough to play games, I would just ask head of department, and the simple response would be along the lines of: “yeah thats not a problem, just it is a work laptop first so if IT says a game is creating any lapse in functionality talk it out, if

I don’t remember now if Destiny has mantling or sliding, but Halo adding those I thought was a big win. While I did play the whole of 2s campaign and lots of 3 co-op I can barely remember anything about them other than the gun play. But I played a fair amount of Infinite at launch and it at least felt better. We’ll

That may be exacerbating the problem. But I seem to remember enemies in Destiny that when you killed them with a headshot you got some feedback. Although to your point Overwatch I think also doesn’t have the strongest gun feel, but does offer that nice bullet/projectile hit feedback.

But I really think that is just

Yeah to me every gun I held felt like nothing. I can’t remember the names of any of them, but I must have tried about 15. But I am glad that there is a shooter that you enjoy. Glad there is a little something for all of us with all our different tastes.

Well friend if you have the time explain to me what you feel is so good about it. To me every gun just feels like its shooting air, there is no feel, no kick back, no tactility to anything. Is that what you enjoy? Or has your experience been different.

And? Borderlands 3 has a few thousand, the number of guns doesn’t determine the quality of each of them. Actually I could probably find 48 guns in Borderlands that I would find more satisfying to shoot than Destiny’s exotics.

It’s not the ADSing or not ADSing, its that all the guns feel like I’m shooting air. There is

I’m so hype for this. Looking forward to playing HiFi Rush this afternoon. Redfall is one of my most anticipated games of the year. And after devouring Forza horizon 3, 4 & 5, I’m willing to give Motorsport a good try.
