Well, to extend your metaphor, what if, today, in 2023, every single important thing that happened had to be viewed through the lens of World War II? And then, too, every historical story had to lead into World War II?

I kinda want to see more Alison Brie/Brie Larson content, so put her in the next Captain Marvel film.
Quantomania was a good stopping point on Kang. Reshoot Loki S2 where needed? Reshoot Season One’s Finale - I mean it’s just one long huge monologue. Heck, hold Loki for two more years and just shoot S3. Give Loki a big Daredevil sized season.
Alison Brie said she'd love to play a Marvel villain. Do it now, MCU
They did, but it was Earth-667 Jonathan Majors, not Earth-666.
I bet filming a Bay or Richie film is more exciting than most projects, they tend to film on location and usually involve a fair amount of action. I can’t blame the dude for going that route. It’s not like he has anything to prove in the acting department.
To be fair, when there wasn’t much tv it wasn’t very good either.
The post, like the show upon which it was reporting, was also abruptly cancelled before the writers could bring it to a satisfying conclusion.
Two seasons and an abrupt cancellation, aka the Netflix Handshake
As Shaw she was my favorite character on Person of Interest, one of my favorite shows. For obscure reasons one of my favorite scenes was Finch ordering a deli sandwich for her (pastrami on rye with two kinds of mustard) and being terrified they would get the order wrong
Best wishes to Ridley, if I was in her spot there's no way I'd be back after the legion of neckbeards spent the last decade saying western civilization ended because a woman was the lead character. She has more resolve then me to come back.
Ive actually witnessed a full on legit university debate on this. Apparently the opposing view is - clapping is for each other as much as it is for the performer. In fact our brains have a deep, primitive response to clapping and joining in on clapping, a communal exchange between clappers that is MORE significant…
It’s a spontaneous burst of emotion, like any other expression. It’s fine
At home those “pause for applause” moments are super egregious during the introduction Andrew and Tobey, making it even more galling that they are introduced in the exact same way in the exact same scene.
It’s one of the things that killed me when I saw it like in late January at a matinee because, you know, COVID: I knew that the pauses (for DD, and of course the Spiders-Men) were there because they expected the theater to whoop out loud and I was sad that this fucking thing denied me the ability to safely do so on…
If only Marvel would've been there for Jeb! Bush's campaign.
People being happy to see Charlie Cox as Daredevil on the big screen is not exactly Kwisatz Haderach level prescience.
“....American Ferreira”
That is the problem with Men. With their short lives, they never finish what they start, leaving us to clean up their mess.
And Rhea Perlman!
