I thought Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson were both outstanding. Particularly Foggy. I didn’t like the Electra actress much but she was better than Jennifer Garner.

If Deborah Ann Woll isn’t brought back, we riot. I’ll keep hoping that she is involved and it’s just a well-kept secret, but so far this news is just disappointing. She’s kind of great as a person and deserves more work, and she was great as Karen in the Netflix show. There are a million reasons to bring her back and

I actually took Tar’s fame to very much only be within that community, and that perhaps the classical music world is much bigger than I realized. But even so, I wouldn’t mind living in a reality where symphony conductors were huge pop culture celebs!

Woll really connected with Bernthal’s Punisher too, in a way that reflected a thoughtful evolution of a character and their response to trauma. Underserved female characters are a real weakness in a lot of superhero/comics stories, so for me it was a breath of fresh air to see the complexity of Karen’s story treated

Well shit I was talking to friends about Bernthal and the Punisher last night and how its a shame he won't get to return.  Hell yes to this!

I know this is your job

It’d also be helpful to address those that fund the paparazzi via purchase of their problematic pictures.

Pity he wasn’t Pedro Algol. Then he could be Pedro Pascal and in the future Pedro Modula-2 and finally Pedro Oberon.

Sounds like young Pedro might have had a bit of a crush.

Well this is a nice antidote to all the rumors and backbiting about how toxic the set of Buffy was & to what degree was that Sarah Michelle Gellar’s fault (and not the guy whose fault it actually was)

“Why aren’t we just appealing to this really rabid fan group and making the movie for a good price and going on our merry way, instead of trying to compete with the Marvels of the world?”

“IP that has been commercially viable for 50 years should be allowed to rest.”

Obviously Grogu is the “somehow” in “somehow Palatine returned”.

One of the best things ‘Frasier’ ever did was bring Lilith back, pair her up with Niles, and let the two lob insults back and forth like ICBMs. I’m particularly fond of this exchange from a Thanksgiving episode.

If there’s anything I’ve picked up over the last 6-7 years it’s that publicly naming your abuser opens you up to a lot of scrutiny and criticism.

Yeah, from “The Show Where Sam Shows up,” S02E16:

Yes. One might say .... Lilith fair.

It’s interesting as a litmus test just because there’s a much more expansive take than the binary “he’s a hero/he’s a villain”, and that’s that he can both be sympathetic for facing issues everyone does and sometimes wishes they could rail against, while also being an example of someone going off the deep end in a way

The movie manages to be simultaneously anchored to the exact time it was made (DFENS being a defense contractor who just lost his job due to the end of the Cold War) and more relevant than ever (pathetic middle-aged white guy snapping and going on an increasingly violent rampage).

The World’s End is so underappreciated.
