Perhaps his crowning moment is the Justice League episode with the alternate evil League members. Conroy recorded the entire scene where Batman confronts his evil version in a single take, switching back and forth between the subtly different voices flawlessly.

RIP

People don’t become so critical when its other crimes that took place in the past. As soon as it’s someone who endured sexual violence then everyone is ready to not believe the victim. And especially when it’s a child who was groomed who has spent their entire life sorting out if somehow they are to blame. They don’t

let the woman find some closure if she needs it. sexual trauma is present in every moment despite how much time passes, unless you can find some peace.

Saying “Chadwick Boseman isn’t a good actor” is like saying “Harrison Ford isn’t a good actor.” No doubt a person could make a sound argument to support that assertion, but while they were making their argument I’d be busy wishing that Chadwick Boseman or Harrison Ford were making it, because it’s entertaining to

Civil War was a much better intro to him than Black Panther

I remember seeing Civil War in the theater, and the very first time he turns to face the camera the audience reacted. Boseman had an uncommon on screen presence.

People involved said that they didn’t *want* to do that. I can understand Coogler and the other people who worked with him for a long time not wanting to. And honestly, from a chemistry standpoint, it could have an impact if the cast wasn’t happy with that choice.

IMO I thought his introduction in Civil War was exceptional, maybe even a better performance than his subsequent film that he headlined.

Sez you.

I just disagree. Boseman was a screen icon possessed of unusual charisma and grace, and this was widely recognized before his passing. There’s a reason Boseman is the first unsnapped face we see walking through the portal in Endgame. People aren’t just grading him up as a performer because he died young. With respect

Whoa Martin Freeman melted!

My job has had me doing disaster recovery work for years now, and I refuse to believe a nation as advanced as Wakanda had its figurative eggs in one basket for Killmonger to torch. The scene where he burned “all” of the heart-shaped herb was too much for me to accept.

“Honestly, though, what we really want to know is how much it’ll look like Atlantis in DC’s Aquaman. We’re hoping, nay, praying, that because this is Marvel, the name change and culture switch will mean less Day-Glo and fewer fluorescent lights.”

Yep. Recently rewatched Mad Men on Freevee and the commercials always started two seconds before the end of a scene. Which resulted in the last two seconds abruptly starting the next scene whenever the ads ended. This was a show made for traditional cable with natural breaking points for ads and they still managed to

Life insurance fraud is a felony.

Cisco was my favorite character on the Flash but he was constantly getting what I call Willowed. He was the best friend supporting character that became a hell of a lot more powerful than the series main guy so the writers had to constantly find stupid ways to knock him back down. Whedon did the same thing when Willow

Porsche buyer: “Oh my God that looks incredible in that color! I’ll take one! In silver.”

All hail The Colors, for they are Good!

Man, in spite of all of the flaws in this group of shows (and there were many I complained about on this very site), I sure did love me some Arrowverse. The best place for TV superhero fun for years and years. These slides were a great stroll down memory lane. I especially enjoyed the cross overs after years of
