I lived for a few years on the Yucatan Peninsula, and all I can say is that this was a brilliant narrative direction to go. The Mayan/Aztec cultures of Mexico are absolutely ripe for this sort of thing - the Mayans especially.

I just think it’s a waste of Ford to have him just reprise the role originally played by a now-deceased actor. Especially since MCU Ross was never a remotely interesting or essential character.

I always thought that Cox played Matt on the Netflix series with a bit of wry, self-effacing humor, even at his darkest - which is what kept him from being painfully morose. It’s precisely why he’s so fabulous in the role, and it didn’t seem like too much of a stretch for him on She-Hulk.

I assume the article meant to say he died of DEHYDRATION .. not starvation. Nobody starves to death in 5 days. A typical human can survive around 24-30 days without food.... but most humans will die after 3-5 days of no water.

I get that. I was a neurotic as fuck kid and had a panic attack back in 1998 when America did its “police action” bombing of Iraq around the time Clinton was impeached.

Yep. Pure fucking evil.

Damn, this is fucked up. Everyone involved, from the guards who first injured him, to the ones who ignored him, to the doctors that “examined” him, need to face charges over this and lose whatever licenses they have for life.

Her role in the BTTF franchise was hardly a step forward in her career. She was the barely-there “love interest” who was written out of the action even more abruptly and cruelly than she was in KK.

I’m pretty sure he’s still 28, too, which is the amazing part.

Good to know that billions of dollars, one of the biggest and most newsworthy social media networks, and the internet access of a country that’s being invaded are all in the hands of a thick-skinned guy like Musk.

That show ended 40 years ago. Not everyone is going to immediately identify a pop culture reference from the Reagan administration.

“distracts from the story, which is that my life fell apart right when I was learning to be both Jen and She-Hulk. Those are my stakes, K.E.V.I.N.”

I was wondering about that as well, then I remembered Reynolds is Canadian

Jennifer said in the first episode that it wouldn’t be a typical Marvel show. She outright edited her own show to prevent it from turning into the usual bloated ending mess. Honestly it’s great that she was able to use the fourth wall to retcon a season-wide plot.

I don’t think “there’s a way to fly out of the trap” is a good enough explanation for why the plane’s software was determined to put it into the ground. They did not design for a sensor failure state, despite other verification signals being available, on a system that could crash the plane. That’s on Boeing.

Except it is. Very accurate. Taping two rocket engines to a cardboard plane and then giving “good training manuals” does not absolve you of the responsibility. Regardless of what mistakes were made - if they were made - later, the design is criminal. Also, it’s easy to cry “pilot error”, but I'd like to see you (or

It really is the ensemble of characters (with their excellent voice actors) who keep Archer going. Whatever its other flaws, the show has always had that at the heart of many of its best episodes - hell, one of their best episodes literally involved shutting them all together in an elevator for a 22-minute run-time.

He’s very much a “useful idiot” at this point.

“Of the two of them, Mussolini was much kinder and gentler than Hitler”
